Handling interviews
===================

Once you have created a project, you are ready to add interviews to this project. Please note that in case you've created a project where all interviews share common elements, you have to specify them before you can add interviews to the project.


Start a new interview or select an existing one
-----------------------------------------------

You can add a new interview to the project or select an interview that already exists within the selected project, by clicking on the "Create/select interview" command on the right side of the page.

There are two or three options in the "Create a new interview" section; depending on the type of project you've created.

    * **Name**: Select a short descriptive name for the interview. The length of the name is limited to ten characters.
    * **Comment**: Write down an optional comment about the interview.
    * **The number of elements**: If interviews in the project don't share common elements you have to specify the number of elements here. 
      If interviews in the project share common elements you've already entered this data when you created a project; in this case, this option will not show up.

If you wish to select an existing interview, to edit or analyze it, select the interview from the drop-down menu in the "Select an existing interview" section


Edit an existing interview
--------------------------

You can always edit comments for the selected interview, but you can't edit the number of elements for the interview (if elements are determined on per interview basis) after the first rating of elements on a construct has been saved to the database.

Permanently delete an existing interview
----------------------------------------

To delete the selected interview click on "Delete the selected interview" command on the right side of the page. 
A page with some data about the interview, such as the number of construct and ties, creation data, will show up.
If you select the "Delete" option and execute it, the action will permanently delete the interview from the database.
